If you want to make a more environmentally-conscious choice when purchasing a cell phone, why not consider the Samsung E200 Eco? Samsung has gone green with this candybar phone that has a casing made entirely from corn-based bioplastics.
And for a green phone, it’s no slouch. It features:

- SMS and video messaging
- MP3 player
Not too bad, if you ask me. Plus, it features a special alarm that reminds you to unplug the phone’s charger once the battery is all the way full. No need to drain extra power than you need to, after all. The phone looks simple and perhaps a bit dated, but it’s a positive step toward environmental awareness in electronics. However, corn-based plastics aren’t exactly that fantastic for the environment. But this is a step in the right direction, without a doubt.
